DIY Foaming Facewash

I have to share this because it’s too good not to: I made my own foaming facewash/soap with camomile tea and essential oils. It’s probably one of the best things I’ve ever made 🍵😁 It’s kind of the same way I make my baby body wash.

What you need is Castile Soap, brewed tea of preference or distilled water, fractionated coconut oil or olive oil or almond oil—really any carrier oil you want, and 10-20 drops of essential oils—depending on how big your foaming dispenser is. Add honey if you want. I used Lavender and Frankincense because it makes me feel awesome in the morning and at night. I never use an exact measuring system. But, I fill the dispenser up 1/4 of the way with Castile Soap, add a 1/2-1 tsp of carrier oil, drops of essential oil, and fill the rest up with the tea/water, leaving space for the pump. I shake it each time I use it.
If you make baby wash, I normally put half that amount of essential oils in it. But my skin is super sensitive, so for me, this amount is fine. Both are soothing and great for skin care!
For a toner, you can use witch hazel or apple cider vinegar, and essential oils. I like peppermint and grapefruit because it’s an awesome “wake up” combo for in the morning.
Hope you love it! 🌱🍵
